We join the Grandparents Club

Holly made Ann & I very proud new members of the grandparents club by having Harry Joseph at 0345 on the 15th November at the hospital in Burton on Trent. He weighed into the world at 8lb 3oz with the aid of the medical equivalent of a Powys farmers piece of baling twine.

Spot first picture A week on and Holly, Sam and Harry are all settling down into a happy family now the initial stresses, traumas and gross lack of sleep are turning into something of a routine. Granny Ann has monopolised cuddles and has even changed his clothes but managed to avoided the nappy change.

We would like to thank all of you who have sent us cards welcoming us to this new club and franchise and would like to sincerely apologise to anybody we promised to tell and failed to do so our brains have gone into 'underdrive' since the end of October.

Spot was Ann's nickname for Harry whilst he was cooking as I did not want to know the sex of the baby before delivery but it became the worst kept secret as Ann dropped herself unwittingly numerous times.
