To compliment the shepherd’s hut, we have a Micropod - a stylish camping pod with a unique design that will add a bit of character to any camping trip for two. The Micropod is perfect for any weather as it is fully insulated, just park your car right outside and unload your belongings without the hassle of pitching your tent and simply enjoy your stay.

The airy pod has a comfortable settee with a pull-out double bed, or alternatively the settee can be used as a single for when only one person is staying. There is a small table and two chairs enabling you to relax and dine indoors or out on the undercover decking. The decked area allows for al fresco cooking in all weather conditions as it is sheltered from the elements. For your convenience 240V electrics are available (3 sockets) along with a kettle and mugs so you can make a hot drink whilst unloading. Safe gas and charcoal barbeques are allowed but no fire pits.

All you require to bring is your usual camping equipment, bedding and cooking equipment, just leave the tent behind. Please remember that the Micropod is strictly non-smoking in keeping with the law.

Hiring the Micropod:

The Micropod is available to hire from 1st March to 31st October when our touring park section is open. Toilet and washing facilities are nearby in our modern toilet block which boasts a series of individual rooms that have a toilet and wash basin, some also have a shower. Dish washing and laundry facilities are in the adjacent building.

Arrival & Departure: Please arrive after 1:00pm. The Micropod departure time is 11am. Please leave the hut clean and tidy and return the key to reception.
